The Pentair 071725S Shaft Seal is an essential component for keeping C and EQ-Series Commercial Pumps running smoothly. With its extra heavy duty construction, this seal provides a long-lasting protection from water leakage and other damage that can occur in harsh environments. Made of carbon graphite, stainless steel and viton rubber, this shaft seal provides superior performance over standard seals.
In addition, this shaft seal prevents water from entering the motor of the pool pump. If your new pool pump motor doesn't have the right-sized shaft seal for the pool pump, it will probably flood and stop operating.
