The Jacuzzi® 9422-2429 Cartridge Filter is designed for easy, tool-free servicing and 100% filtration. Thanks to the patented sediment catcher, debris cannot fall into the tank when the element is removed. The one-piece body construction with 1-1/2"FPT (Female Pipe Thread) injection-molded connections is made of a durable, glass-filled thermoplastic that is corrosion-resistant.
There is also a 2" (51mm) drain for easy draining and winterizing. It comes with a safety tab lock to ensure proper installation and safe operation, plus an automatic air bleed valve for added assurance. The coreless filter element allows cleaning from the inside out with just a garden hose. And the low profile design saves space, allowing installation in half the vertical space of most other filters.
