The Raypak 010787F Water Sensor is a safety device created to detect the presence of water in a pool or spa. It is designed to work with controls and fit models 989B, 1259B, 1529B, 1799B pool heaters.
This water sensor is installed in the heater's water supply line. When water is present in the line, the sensor detects it and sends an electrical signal to the heater's control board. The control board will turn off power to the heater if water is detected, preventing overheating and potential damage.
