The S.R. Smith G3D049-SINGLE Grab Rail is a premium handrail/ladder intended for use around swimming pools. It is vital to remember that all metal surfaces within 5ft of the water's edge must be bonded by local electrical codes for safety reasons. It is designed to be used with a 4" anchor, but if your existing application uses a 3" anchor, all vertical dimensions will be 1" higher.
This grab rail is composed of 304 stainless steel, which makes it rust and corrosion resistant. To get rid of any surface rust that might develop on the stainless-steel material over time, the producer of this grab rail suggests using Brasso Multipurpose Metal Polish. Ultra Protect Sealant can be applied to this grab rail to offer further protection against surface rust.
